A monastrell based red wine from Valencia, blended with a little merlot, garnacha, cabernet sauvignon and syrah. Popped and poured. Dark ruby colour. Full of spices and herbs from nose to palate. Well balanced pepper spiciness and acidity. Ripe red fruits dominant. Very powerful and straight forward without hiding anything else. The alcoholic backbone was bold and solid which played an important role to keep the body well integrated. Smooth texture. Light but notable tannin at finish. Supposed to drink …

Popped and poured, tasted over three days without paying much attention to it--forgive this tasting note. Pretty deep dark color with just a sense of translucency on the edges. Dark fruit, oak and pepper. Tannin driven wine and didn't look to see what the grape composition is but I'd guess Monastrell is a key player.
