Fruitiness blew off after a while. Nose of oak, caramel, dark cherry, dark fruit. On the pallet dark fruit, dark cherry and spice. $20 wine that drinks like a $30+ bottle. Would buy again.

Kinda boozie, but still pretty and elegant. Raspberry jam on the nose with a slight floral background. The alcohol sticks in on the palate, but it isn't too obvious. Good chewy tannins. Will be buying more to cellar. Give it a couple of years.

Bibendum Spanish Tasting : Licorice, plum and spice. Appealing palate with some plush fruit but it feels quite complete across the length. Nicely structured with good brightness too.
