This wine improved over the course of three days it was open, showing off a depth of red fruit and a lovely bitterness on the finish. No rush if you're holding bottles of this. I wish I had more!

Drank this after the barbers and this is a bit more delicate but also delicious. Night two paired beautifully with prosciutto and basil wrapped cod. Really in a nice spot and would drink near term

Made with 100% Dolcetto from vineyards on calcareous soils in Verduno and Roddi, partially destemmed, malo complete, aged for nine months in steel, 12.5% ABV. Pure and fresh, bright acidity, lovely varietal typicity, light and transparent, savoury in style, quite grippy and peppery (but easier after a brief decant), roses and almonds, cranberries and red cherries, dry but not drying, chalky minerality on the finish, good to very good length. Perfect for the hearty cuisine of the region. Drink now …

Surprisingly tannic (dusty) for a good deal of the time this was open; and the fruit was a bit muted and in need of more lift. Needed an hour plus before it came into better balance. Last bottle (in July) was better. Drink last bottle within the next few months.

Screams Piecdmont. Time to re-orientate my palate to high acidity wines with delicate but somehow substantial fruit notes. A beaufiful wine, indeed.

Quite dense, dark and concentrated. Lots of dark cherry fruit, but this has purity and a nice acidic lift that stops it from tipping over into heaviness. More enjoyable than the '19 Barbera D'Alba, which I didn't really get on with.

Brief note. Drank side by side with same vintage barbera. This is a bit more lithe but I think a hair better. Both great but…..I would drink these near term. No upside to waiting IMO

Great dolcetto, structure and fruit in balance with fresh acidity. Drinking well now, can hold for a few years with no issue.

A bit closed on the nose but very juicy on the palate. Nice balance of rich plummy fruit, medium weight, and a smooth finish. Has the right acid for any food. Very good, enjoyable Dolcetto.

PNP. Cork perfect. Garnet w purplish edges. Nose suggests who,e cluster w dark cherry and plum. Swishing shows extremely fine-grained, well integrated tannin that frames the fruit which is dense. There is a touch of acid but not dominant. Sipping shows perfect balance. I agree that this is great tonight and I think that it has for sure 3 to 5 at least ahead.

PnP. Deeply hued, with blackberry and orange peel notes on the palate. Fine tannins balanced with juicy acidity. Wonderful pairing with grilled chicken. This will positively evolve over the next few years, and is a bit closed today. Let go of your preconception of Dolcetto.

Have never been a fan of dolcetto but this was pretty good. Relatively light, not too dark fruited, and played well on table. About $40 at 2 Amy's.

Enjoyed this a lot especially for the price. Doesn’t require a lot of thought just a not too heavy red great for summer sipping.

A pleasure bomb, so balanced and ethereal. Only 12.5alc. Just so much fun to drink, not taste..

Decanted. Light and bright style (12.5% ABV); crunchy cherry fruit and a hint of rose on the nose, vineyard peach and white almond; fresh and dry palate, savoury minerality and firm grape skin tannins; good resonance and length. Really pure and precise - it feels like Foillard or Lapierre from Piemonte. But Dolcetto isn't quite a match for Gamay.
