Très beau nez complexe. Équilibre en bouche. Fruits noir, cuir, petit côté empyreumatique très plaisant. Buvabilité++. Acidité+. Peut tenir encore quelques années. Fondue d'orignal.

“G8 summit – A journey on the Duero-Douro-River” (blind), Wine 16: The wine offered floral notes, red fruit, leather, spices and clove on the slightly reduced nose. On the palate the wine showed red fruit, coffee, spices, cinnamon and meaty notes, with fresh, medium-plus acidity, well-integrated, medium to medium-plus tannin and superb length. A good end to a great evening!

Needs decanting! Lots of tannins without. Sour without decanting, decanted full bodied

Decanted ca 1,5 hours. On the nose quite pleasant dark fruit, sous-bois and a whiff of oak. Medium bodied, soft and supple, delivering beautiful mellow dark fruit with firm and smooth tannins and good acidic structure. A hint of funky earth on the finish.Great balance. Wow! A nicely matured wine drinking perfectly now. Drink or hold for a couple of years.

Very enjoyable wine. Lovely bright and deep fruits, interesting deliniated nose and a very pleasant drop all around

Deep coloured, very beautiful nose of mature dark fruits, some floral notes, some spices like cinnamon. Very nice body, full but with elegance, with multiple layers of taste profile on the palate. Long lingering finish, balanced acidity, beautiful wine that I truly enjoyed.

Enjoyed this quite a lot, good balance showing only moderate signs of a hot climate, really elegant for the region and good pure red fruits winning the Battle from the stewed fruits Has the stuffing to age
