I love this wine! This isn't your grandma's chardonnay... I had a chance to taste this at the winery and fell for it immediately. If you bought/tried this bottle without knowing what you were getting into, I could see how some might be taken back, even thinking that its possibly corked. Very mellow on the fruits, and very strong in the earthy flavors. Lots and lots of oak coming through, and the right amount of smoke to where this wine …

Drank to celebrate my engagement. Shared with my fiance and my parents. A great compliment to a great day. What Ben said is a touch corked is actually the true flavor of the wine. This is an uncommon chardonnay with lots of minerality and other flavors not typically seen in this kind of grape. It makes for a unique experience. I've never paid $45 for a white, and I likely won't again in the near future, but this bottle delivered …
