Not overly complex, very smooth, nice finish. Would buy again.

Mid Sep 2010: deep black color; absolutely no aromas/flavors in nose and mouth; full body; pleasant tannins; satin-like texture. Still not sure if my sense of smell failed completely that day? But that’s the exact memo made on the consumption day.

Acids just slightly high upon opening. Smoothed out over time. Flavors of plum, cassis, chocolate. A great Malbec!

Well integrated, smooth example of a nice varietal. Still offered a compelling nose. Would buy again

Very dark. Fine tannins, chocolate, dark berries and very well balanced.

Authentic Malbec -- dark red, almost purple. Leathery, earthy notes follow and intense blackberry, current and dark cherry attack. Firm tannins, but no bitter, green or jammy notes as are often found in Argentine Malbecs. Well worth the $$ IMHO.

Visit to Napa; 6/7/2008-6/10/2008 (Napa Valley) : This winery-only bottling was very nice. I don't have vast experience in malbecs, but this one was among the best I can remember, and purer than most Argentinian versions, showing clean blueberry aromas and flavors, with a little blackberry and currant as well. A little soft, but generous in its enjoyability.
