Mid-weight with a supple texture, the wine shows a subtle medicinal note layered over mixed red berries, including plum and cherry. The fruit-forward character is balanced by a gentle structure, making it approachable and straightforward.

Under screwcap. It's not awful, but it simply does not taste like pinot. Color is atypically dark garnet. Smells somewhat burnt (charred barrel?), and boozy. Tastes warm to hot - label says 13% abv but it feels like it's more. Not much in the fruit department and tannins are a bit rough. At Primula in Helsinki. Perfumy and sweet oaky on the nose. Medium bodied, sweet spoofy fruit with obvious oak and a bit harsh ending. Paired decently with pizza.
