Italy meets Paso Robles. Very similar/true to riper middle-aged Baroli but with something on the nose that is distinctly "Paso". Really enjoyed this even if at times I felt the fruit was slightly cooked. BEN CHRISTIANSEN wrote a couple years ago that it was "super grippy" and I'd agree that it had some "grippy" tannins, but they weren't drying. Pair with a grilled steak.

Big, delicious styled Nebbiolo. Ripe fruit, classic rose, spice, well structured. Definitely masculine in style and missing the classic depth and complexity that Nebbiolo can deliver. Well structured, acid and tannins in check, though lower alcohol would be appreciated.

HIgh perfume, big mid palate, 45 day fermentations, super misbehavior in the vineyard. Super grippy.
