Drinking perfectly now, no need to wait

Nice wine, good fruit. Tannins were initially a little bit sharp but after an hours they opened up revealing a beautiful wine. Easily drinking for another couple of years.

Visits to Most of the Cellar Doors in Coonawarra; 7/21/2012-9/8/2013 (Coonawarra) : Excellent bright, typical Coonawarra sweet red and black fruit. Let down by poor oak (some planks in tank?) May improve with age. Why not make an unoaked wine than compromise the excellent fruit? 91+(?)

Very deep dark colour. Almost impenetrable. The nose was slightly closed off and the palate felt like the acid outweighed the fruit, oak and tannins. Mid length finish. Perhaps drunk a bit too young but a pleasant wine all the same.
