7 Tasmania Wineries Jan-14; 1/9/2014-1/14/2014 : {screwcap, 13.5%, A$36} Terrific chardonnay; the lightly-oaked barrel-ferment characters emphasise the stone-fruit, vanilla bean flavours. Wonderfully-textured medium-bodied chardonnay, with an even palate and a medium-length finish. A great advert for cool-climate chard. Miniscule production; great aging potential.
