Moreau-Naudet, Chablis, Caractere

Robe assez claire mais reflets dorés, nez généreux, tres "chablis", lacté crémeux et salin, traces d'iode, de lys, vent marin et fougère. Plus pâtissier que fruité. En bouche, joli volume, tension saline et belle acidité en finale, le vin à gardé beaucoup de peps derrière son gras. Tout cela manque sans doute d'un peu de finesse, mais je me souviens d'un 2004 qui en avait acquis avec le temps. Devrait bien vieillir encore, car la longueur est très correcte.

A better bottle, the different elements seemed more integrated. Still lots of tide pool aramos and high acidity in the mouth. Good now, should improve I think.

Not as crisp as the other vineyards, but fruity nonetheless

Very much on the tide pool funky side with aromas. Tart bracing acidity in the mouth. Maybe needs a bit of time.

Great seaweed and oyster shell nose, slightly funky in a good way. Lively palate, maybe a touch of vanillin in the mid palate. If the oak integrates some this would be outstanding and a great value for $18.

Classic well-made Chablis. Aromatics have developed nicely - yellow fruits accompanied by a whiff of marine elements and damp hay, which I find absolutely attractive. Clear and brisky acidity is still there. Very good for its level.
