loads of cherries, high toned plum, roasted vanilla, and soft earthy herbs. with 5-6 hours, this put on silky weight and texture to complement the black and red fruit. a long savory finish that really punched above its weight class. if scoring, 91-93. drink up, but another 2-4 years of great drinking.

Translucent ruby. Decanted 30 min and consumed over 2 days. Day 1 went well with steak, with a nice and soft nose of plums, blackcurrants and spice. The palate was full of red and black fruits, with some baking spice on the back end. Day 2 showed the 15% alcohol and a harsher almost unripe edge. Odd contrast from day 1 to day 2, but still enjoyable.
