Winoforum 2021 – Portugalia (On-line) : Very nice colour, strong nose full of red fruits with some herbal notes. Medium acidity and good body, elegant and well made. A bit off in the last phase on the finish

It was a medium bodied dry red with smooth acidity. Not too aromatic but on the pallette there were notes of French oak and dark fruit. It has a nice long fruity finish

Someone said spiced roast plum, and I think that captures it. Other dark fruits, nutmeg, vanilla. A bit of tart cherry on the finish. Borderline jammy, as entry level Portuguese wine can be. Still, quaffable and good value.

Ripe cherries on the nose. Racing acidity. Oak and berries on pallet. Structured. Needs to be paired with hearty stews or BBQ.

Same blend as 2016 (and distinct from 2015): 40% Touriga Nacional, 35% Syrah, 25% Tinto Roriz (Tempranillo). Not tried yet, planning to give this 6-12 months more before opening.
