Light, fruity and rustic upon opening... some nice acidity and rambunctious (but not overpowering) tannins give this juicy little wine character. It’s definitely not a thought piece - even among other straight gracianos I’ve had. But it’s easy to drink and perfect for a night of cheese and salumi, or a burger, pizza, etc. I’m going to pick up a couple more. The next day - this wine has opened up considerably. More integrated, but also a bit more expansive …

Very dark. The liquid seems thin. Not strong in the nose. Some redcurrant, cranberry and a hint of raspberry. On the palate a tad wry. Might profit from some extra aging. Paired nicely with manchego.

Only £6.50 a bottle so mustn't judge it too harshly, but I found this rather one-dimensional. It's easy drinking, with nice black fruit at the back of the tounge, but nothing special, even at £6.50.
