Domaine Thomas Morey Chassagne-Montrachet

Enjoyed over 7 hours. Pale lemon. Steely-mineral nose, citrus, spice, youthfully understated. Again an understated citrusy palate, more along the lines of grapefruit, subtle spice, clay-like mineralite, great purity, bright acidity, very persistent, best at the 7 hour mark.

Puligny floral, apples and white peaches. Gentle, delicate, and elegant, with a pale intensity. Not overpowering; subtle.

Expressive orchard nose - white peaches, pear, yellow apple with some citrus zest. Laser cut acidity - mid palate falls out for a second but then picks up with a tart, juicy finish. Stony minerality, grapefruit, lemon and unripe kiwi.

A very fine nose of white flowers, citrus and white peach. It has great intensity and shape in the mouth, building through the palate and finishing with terrific precision and cut. Seriously classy.

This is a wine that displays notes of white flowers and yellow fruits. It has good shape in the mouth with excellent intensity and a fine, fresh finish.
