I guess I should be thankful to our local distributor - these wines seem to continually be a few years old when they hit the shelves. Maybe it's the producer doing this, but as I see that there are plenty of 2015 and 2016 already out there, I guess it's not the case. Further, the price on these (circa $16) is insane given the very high quality, so if it sounds like I'm complaining, I'm not - I'm getting some …

Tight right now, this will benefit with one hour of aeration in decanter, I think. That said, this was enjoyable nonetheless, with classic citrus and orchard fruit notes, some white pepper and chalky, steely notes of soil. Light>Medium-bodied, with an average finish and above-average acidity. No harm in letting these rest for another few years if you prefer some roundness the fruit. Will repurchase (every year this is on the list) at $17. recommended SnP, served non-blind. Very fresh, great …

River stones, resin, saline, with stone fruits, lemon oil and beeswax on the nose. The palate is not as energetic as T26 often is, so I'd be drinking this one sooner than later. That said, it's still enjoyable and remains a solid companion for a weeknight dinner. Medium-bodied, avg finish showing some bitters and quinine. On to the 14s soon. Love this producer. 12,5% abv. recommended Served non-blind over 2 days, day 1 somewhat better. Paired with a salad for …

Nose of melon, crushed rocks, and dried herbs. Medium body, moderate acid. More melon on the finish. Drink now through 2019.

This is a crisp dry gruner with a great body, nuances of mandarin and pear and some light herbal notes, all sitting nicely together and held together with a vibrant acidity. It can come across as a simpler wine at first but the fruit carries complexity and depth. Wish I had more.
