This monster tames itself in the glass. Animale aromas and flavors blow off and the Syrah perfume begins to emerge after about 30 minutes. What pokes through is highly perfumed, akin to Cote Rotie, with real finesse. There is a ganache and bing cherry sweetness on the mid-palate, extending into a surprisingly clean and dry finish. Ce vin mérite encore 1 a 3 as de cave. Tres animal et encore fermé. Peut-être est-il dans une mauvaise période...? apres 5 heures il s'affichait un peu mieux. 88+ Santé

Dès l'ouverture le vin est très approchable, mais il gagne à respirer une trentaine de minutes en carafe. Au de là de ce point le vin ne s'améliore plus. Au nez on retrouve un côté médicamenteux, de la garrigue, des fruits rouges et des épices. Le vin est très expressif et il a tout pour charmer.
