The color on this 09 Rose is quite a bit lighter than the 08 and almost had the nose of a Blanc de Noirs Champagne. This 09 Rose was beautiful and quite expressive, quite youthful. Aged strawberries, red and black cherries, a little bit of apricot on the finish. The bubbles were really just right on the money here, but the one thing I did notice was that they seemed to fade rather fast in a small chardonnay glass (so …

Ripe apricot, ripe red cherries, ripe strawberries, orange juice, sweet brown bread and cream on the nose. Medium + intensity of aromas. The palate is pretty interesting - it starts very primary, with flavors of ripe melon, ripe white peach, meyer lemon and orange juice before changing completely to show buttered toast, cocoa powder and toasted picans. Nice yeasty bitterness in the background throughout. Finishes with the pecans, brioche and a hint of oxidation. Not the longest or most intense …

Tiny, delicate bubbles. Red fruit flavors of strawberry, and raspberry that are wonderfully integrated; a joy to drink.

Beautiful orange/bronze color was perfect on Thanksgiving. Crisp with great acidity. Prominent orange, tangerine and grapefruit flavors. Toasty notes are there but reserved. Medium body with a really great mousse. Drank from both Zalto Universal and Zalto Champagne flute. More crisp and citrus fruity out of the Universal. Richer and more full bodied out of the Champagne flute. Drinking spectacularly now but can probably age another 5 years

Light pink and caramel in color. Nose of caramel, peach, and orange blossom. Slightly sweet up front with dry lingering tartness. Flavors of caramel and lemon.

Compared with the 2009 regular Rose this offers up similar notes of strawberry but the finish is profoundly long here, there is a touch more yeast and brioche notes and a whiff of brandy, making this more complex. Awesome. 95+

Beautiful depth and color. Characteristics of strawberry and baking spices from the Pinot Noir shine through and keep the citrus and salinity from the Chardonnay at bay. This is a lovely wine, beautifully balanced, and drinking wonderfully. Based on differences between a bottle enjoyed earlier (perhaps 2 years ago) and this bottle, I expect the Pinot to continue to develop. One more to enjoy, and we may have to keep it a few years to see how it develops. Based …

Golden peach in color with an abundance of small bubbles. Nose is crisp of apple, honeysuckle, strawberry, and butterscotch- very complex. Green apple, Myer lemon, strawberry flavors. Crisp on the entry and very smooth. Lingering crispness on the palate.

Spice more than yeast in the nose. The chard overpowers the blend. A bit of washed out grape juice on the midpalate whatever that means. Very short finish but lovely going down.

A little bit more gumption than the blanc of the same range.

Cherry cranberry biscuit sweet spice Carmel nutty. Rose added with dosage — 4 year aged Pinot. Somewhat weighty but with fruit.

Glad I drank now, don't think this is in it for the long haul. Strawberry with little bit of brioche. Elegant, but maybe a little faded.

Excelent and so so pleasant to drink. Not a lot on the nose, but lots of layers on the palate. White peach, muddled strawberries, a bit of dough. Lots of fun to drink.
