30 minute decant. Nose of blackberry, fresh sage, and notes of Cointreau. Palate delivers blueberry pie and a dazzling flash of acidity followed by a rush of thyme, peppery herbs and a hint of burnt sage. Rustic blackberry on the finish with dried basil, mint, cedar, white peppercorn, and walnut oak.

The fruit is nice but this wine has lacks verve. Nice table wine or cellar defender.

Funk/musty smell upon opening. Decanted for three hours and revisited. No change in nose. Taste had only a slight musty note, but there was no depth nor finish - very atypical for a Bedrock wine - so the bottle is clearly flawed. Disappointed because I had been saving this Pagani for a special dinner. I still feel fortunate, as it's been nearly 3 years since my last flawed bottle.

Quick decant. Nose of blackberry, black raspberry, and lilac. Rustic black fruits with some real depth on the palate, with creamy vanilla and raspberry following. Robust, chewy tannins on the finish, with black fig, blackberry jam flavors cozying up to the oak.

We paired the Bedrock Pagani Ranch 2019 and the Ridge Pagani Ranch 2018 to serve with a classic barbecue dinner -- smoked pork shoulder, baked beans, jalapeño cornbread, and kale. We opened the two wines about 2 hours before the dinner and then decanted them shortly before serving. They were very similar when first opened -- both of them lighter than expected, with relatively high acidity and prickly blackberry fruit. We drank the Bedrock first -- it had filled out …

Very tight despite 3 hours in a decanter before sipping over a few hours. Not your typical fruit forward zin. As much as I want to like Bedrock’s zins, I’ve realized they just aren’t my cup of tea. Only took me about 15 bottles to realize.

Blackberries, plums, cherries, smoke, graphite, pepper, and earth on the nose. Tart cherries, blackberries, plums, earth, and light herbs on the palate. Nice acidity, grippy tannins, medium finish. Overall, this was lovely but young. It should really open up more in a few years.

Yummy. Deep. Fruity. Finish. Complex. Morgan and crew did well this year.

Definitely a single vineyard heritage blend you can expect something extra from. MTP knows his vineyards and where to get the best fruit. Dark and brooding color, but effusive fruit nose. Flavors are darker and richer than lost of his zin or all-black blends. Would pair with roasted meat otherwise this May overpower.

A very nice blend, makes the Zin way less powerful. Could drink a bunch of this . Is dark, a bit earthy but in a good way.

Initially pretty closed and woodsy but with an hour of air opens up really nicely. Pretty dark fruit profile with ample spice. Obviously years to go.

Not nearly as interesting as the 2018 I had opened just before. After approaching over several days I'm just not sure this will become something notable. I'm holding out hope.

Not the most complex Bedrock I’ve had. Tart black fruits and pepper, but pretty light on both. Very lean. 89-90 Day 2 not much change

Nice presentation, maybe a bit tighter and drier than others of theirs, but went well with my pork tenderloin

Rich, leaning towards darker fruit. Intense and complex. Not coming together perfectly at this stage - throwing some disjointed elbows. Still good, but I wonder if it is better later

I infanticided this wine so you wouldn't have to. Rest assured it has stuffing and is well made. Probably 2-3 years minimum before you should open. Dark fruit, spice, depth, nuance. This is not an overblown, flabby zin blend. Get some.

Opened one of my two bottles hopefully after reading some positive notes here. Decanted about sn hour. Pretty tight and unwielding initially in the nose, tho the palate is deep, dark and complex. Healthy amount of tannin. This opened up a bit more on day two. It’s delivering some pleasure now but gives a sense of just scratching the surface. Gonna try to forget my other bottle for a few years.

Dark ruby with bold, intense juicy dark cherries, blackberries, plums, spice and oak on the nose. Medium body and medium tannins that give room to a nice acidity. Cherry pie, dark berry jam, tobacco, bayleaf and clove on the palate lead to a beautiful medium long finish with notes of caramel. Beautiful wine with complex notes that keeps evolving as it decants.

Rich dark fruit flavors, oak, cedar, complex flavors, smooth tannins, this one will last a while, but is drinking very well now.

We LOVE this wine. Two hour decant had it in perfect form. There is a whole lot going on with this wine, wonderfully complex with long, lingering but not overpowering finish.

Consumed over 3 days and still going strong. This one should be long lived. Almost sweet fruit - red plum, dark raspberry, wild blackberry, violet, crushed rock. So perfumed. Great balance. Really delicious wine.
