Friedrich Becker Cabernet Sauvignon WildWein Rot Pur! Trocken

Wouldn't have guessed it's a cab. Medium-bod, very open and nicely balanced w/ good acid. Slightly tight tannins. Outstanding QPR!

Very unique Cabernet Sauvignon dominant bland from northern Germany near the French border close to Alsace. For some reason I kept wanting more, likely due to the impeccable balance and easy drinking nature of a traditionally heavier grape blend. Reminds me of many reds I've had in South Tyrol (would not be surprised if there was also some Lagrein grape in the blend).
