Pfarrgut Rauenthal Rauenthaler Gehrn Riesling Trockenbeerenauslese

Excellent level but I find the cork inside the bottle... Amber colour, a little cloudy. The nose healthy but not so intense, raisins and dry figs with a slight metallic note. Medium volume, not overwhelmingly sweet, taste of red apples, good balance with medium acidity and notable alcohol. Reasonably long. No indication of alcohol, but I'd guess around 11 or 12 degrees rather than the 6 to 8 degrees of present-day Trockenbeerenauslesen.
