Assertively gewurz-y candied pineapple with some botrytis. Then shows its true colors with a totally hollow shell of candy/industrial floral type suggestions. Forget about balance, this ultimately has neither the sugar nor the acid to stimulate the palate in any way!

Very pretty and precocious. this is a pretty gentle GWZ that has some correct flavors and light to medium intensity. I like the sugar/acid/bitter balance but it definitely veers to the shorter/subtler side. Not great, but sometime less is more with GWZ. This was a pretty food friendly wine in the sense that it was well balanced with medium intensity; good restraint.
