Pleasant surprise, light vanilla nose and hints of smoke. The mouthfeel is full and oily with plenty of citric and white stone fruit notes. Oak nicely integrated and everything quite balanced with a good acidity and lengthy finish. A very enjoyable summer evening chardonnay.

Color lemon light, cloudy. Nose medium + intensity, which brings to mind creme brulee, brioche crust, vanilla and hints of lemon and citrus. Mouth also medium + intensity, with aromas of ripe apricot, peach,mango and a faint touch of lotus. Palette complement broad cues from raw almonds and honey. Very well built barrel, lovely greasy and refreshing acidity. Medium + aftertaste. 91/100

A stinky nose that was quite offputting, but it seemed to be clear on the palate. Otherwise a good weight of melon / pear type fruit and it gained more substance as it warmed up a bit in the glass and took on some air. Still seemed very young....
