South African Chenin Blanc: A Signature Variety Arrives (SOMM CON DC) : Medium golden yellow and clear in appearance. A bit savory on the nose with notes of hay. oil, candied tropical fruits and an overall warm sensation. Balanced acidity and tannins (6.5/10) with a medium plus body. A bit of a waxy mouthfeel with stone fruit skins, and wet rocks. Long finish. Drink till 2027.

Really really well made. Fresh, complex fruit notes still. One to watch. Probably underscored.
