Chateau L'Enclos, Pomerol

Vi jobbar vidare på lite äldre Bordeaux, ikväll blev det Chateau L'Enclos, Pomerol från 1985. Ett vinhus där vinerna framför allt skall drickas unga. Den här buteljen hade en kork som var genom fuktad (blöt), men korken kom upp i ett stycke�� Efter att första unkna doften lagt sig hittades traditionsenliga mogen Bordeaux toner Gott��

Light tawny red with an orange rim. The bouquet shows pronounced tertiary aromas of leather, furniture polish, and savoury dried fruits, complemented by undergrowth, red autumn leaves, and a hint of smoke. The palate has a vague corkiness and a dried-out character that slowly declines in the glass. It is faded and, to an extent, possible light corkiness but also possible oxidation. The bottle level was at shoulder height, so I can't expect too much!
