Like the previous two bottles (3/11/25 and 4/16/25), this was deceptively appealing immediately after opening, but needed half an hour in the glass (or the decanter) to show off how gorgeous a wine it really is. Rhubarb, bright cherries, red apple peel, red plums, blood oranges, and minerals, with hints of flowers and licorice, all followed by a gloriously expansive and long aftertaste. This is special. [Tasted over two hours from the Jancis Robinson glass.] No hurry at all. (More …

This was deceptively enjoyable even immediately after opening, but in fact it needed about half an hour in the glass to really show how glorious a wine it is. Bright cherries, minerals, herbs, rhubarb, rose petals, violets, and blood oranges, with a faint underlying earthy note and just the faintest hint of anise. The aftertaste, initially nothing special, gradually expanded to become almost endless. Just amazing, and beautiful. [Tasted over an hour and a quarter from the Jancis Robinson glass.] …

This needed about 15 minutes in the glass to wake up. Then, gorgeous roses and other flowers, red apple peel, intensely earthy minerals, plums, and blood oranges, followed by an expanding and astonishingly long (almost endless after half an hour in the glass) aftertaste-- What a fabulous, what a magnificent wine! [Tasted over more than two hours from both the Jancis Robinson and the Conterno glasses. The differences were subtle, but I got significantly more complexity from the Jancis Robinson …

Translucent purple, pretty colour. Concerning hint of vinegar. Green herbal smell, black fruit perhaps blackcurrant. Cool fresh high acid, tangy and light. Very good

Worth at least 90 points. Fruit sourced from many vineyards, but drinks like a very good cru Beaajolais. Drink now for it's youthful exuberance.

Bright red fruits, some bubble gum and minerality on the nose . Medium -bodied on the palate . Juicy - good acidity . Tannins not a dominant factor . Acidity comes through on the long finish

I love this bottling, and no exception here, a mix of aromas that include both a sweet fruit note, i.e., cherry pie, and a more savory note, i.e., a brisket just of the grill. Medium body, refreshing, excellent.

Very floral nose, peony, roses, with red fruit, lots of gamay character. Light bodied palate with sweet tart red fruits and line of bubble-gum on the mid palate. Fresh and easy going, very quaffable. Last glass developed a lovely earthy note that really added depth. Don't be shy to give this some air

Tasted over three days. True to place and variety throughout. Tart red and purple berries, sappy, steely, iodine, and minerals. Medium to medium plus acid and well balanced. It needs two to three years in the cellar, during which time it could put on weight. 90-91.

Red and black fruit with some earth. Very thin, lean, short finish... nice but doesn't leave much of an impression

A leaner wine, dominated by somewhat tart cranberry/raspberry flavors, somewhat under-fruited, drinkable on a weeknight but not memorable.
