Estampa Gold (Carménère blend)

Inky purple. Aroma of dark fruit and herbal tones. Flavours of black currants, plum, dried prunes, bitter medicinal herbs with a long aftertaste of cassis. Medium bodied, smooth tannin, there is some freshness in the acidity, pretty good structure and mouthfeel. 14.5 ABV but it doesn’t show the heat. Mix of Carmenere (85%), Cabernet Franc (8%), Cabernet Sauvignon (5%) and Petit Verdot (2%). Overall this wine falls on the fruity side - not complex but pretty well integrated. Good QPR.
