Two bottles, consistent. Mid straw. Similar to the 06. Grippy, quite intense, a little more herbal and mineral than the more rounded, honeyed Granit alongside. Consistent with the 06 Gneiss also alongside. ***1/2

Consistent to previous bottles. Signs of fading but retains vitality.

Initially low key & underwhelming. Later open up & character shone through on the palate.

Pale, of course. Distinct iodine note, then a saltiness, open knit. Dry, thirst quenching acidity, bracing, linear, medicinal edge, (epitome of) tangy; minerally deceptiveness leads bone dry finish of lifted assertiveness. A grown up wine.

2 bottles, consistent notes. Quite a mineral nose; fresher, iodine. Crisp, dry entry. Crisper and slightly leaner than the Granit. Quite taut and linear. Moderate length dominated by more mineral flavours and citrus acidity. ***

Same as before, too ordinary

A bit too yeasty, and not as much "sparkling" acidity as I want in a Muscadet. The Chasseloir is better.

Fantastic wine. Classic Muscadet. Bright, fresh, lemon and mineral. Balanced with great weight and acidity.
