The Vineyard at Florence Lenoir Fortè

very interesting wine. Aged showed through but was complex and creamy. Almost pinot like but with a sprinkle of port.

WWC - NJH1122 (Fort Worth Club) : Tasted blind - this was the rando thrown into the wine tasting. It was like drinking red fruit candy. Decent acidity, sweet red fruit, brown sugar. I had no idea, but certainly would never have guess a non-vitis vinifera grape from Texas. My guess was an older Sonoma coast pinot. It was pretty tasty.
