Prior bottle was 14 months ago and this wine is showing quite well, having evolved very much along the liens I'd hoped. Very pretty red cherry on the nose along with spices and earth. Previously tasted at the winery a bit over 16 months ago, this was my first from bottle and worth the wait. Red and black cherry, earth and spices on a nose that's more complex than I recall from my winery tasting. Medium bodied (13.3% ABV) with red cherry upfront, evolving to black cherry through the middle. Then red raspberry towards the back before tart red cherry and strawberry come in. Tasted at the winery. Red cherry, earth and spice notes on the nose, but with considerably more depth and aromatics than the 2019 regular pinot noir it was tasted alongside. Medium bodied with red and black cherry upfront and shows noticeably more mid-body depth than the 2019 regular pinot noir.
