70% mouvedre, 20% grenache, 10% syrah. Some funk on the nose initially that dissipated with aeration. Big, bold and powerful on the nose thereafter with dark fruits and cedar. Black and blue fruits, vanilla and cedar on the palate, tannic but quite smooth, good acidity. Medium-long finish. Still quite primary but with lots of potential to age nicely over the next decade.

Youthful ruby color. Dark fruit, candied red fruit, black pepper, touch of barnyard on the nose. Soft body, good acidity and integrated tannins with herbs and spice on the backend. Slightly clipped finish. Pleasant wine.
