nose: very clean fruit which is unusual; palette: since it is sangria it is a little chilly, it tastes clean too, given this producer’s history my guess is they mixed it with more than the the “natural citrus flavors” they have on the label. They do not say what grapes they are using. It does not have a Rioja flavor. It is more like a slightly citrusy flavored fruit juice. It would be easy to drink a lot of it.

Taste & smell like a handsoup

Tasted Blindfolded. Quite literally smells like Floor Wax. Fake lemon dominant citrus with some spices. I am not sure I want to drink this. The wine is sweet and tastes like orange Gatorade with some tannins added. Short finish. I think I was served Orange Gatorade. Blindfold off and there is a cranberry-colored “wine” in the glass. At this point I am just confused about what was served to me. The reveal: Reál Sangria. That explains the heavy orange palate. …

An odd chemical smell on the nose. Nice citrus on the palate. Good balance of sweetness and acidity.

Cherry cough syrup and edge-thinning with medium viscosity in the glass. Shampoo and toothpaste on the nose. Lite body and off-putting with fake citrus candy, saccharine breath mint, diluted orange juice and mouthwash on the palate. Over angular tartness. Medium, bitter finish. Awful…had to spit and rinse.

This is not a 90 and it's not an 80. I think there is plenty of sweetness present - one could add a lot of tart fruit and come up with something quite good. Liquorice/tobacco nose, red and dark fruit plummy palate, nothing really standing out as bad, enjoyable.

Sangria très fruitée et un peu trop sucrée à mon goût, mais impécable si "coupée" avec du rouge.

This is our favorite Sangria by far. Nice for picnics and warm romantic evenings out on the deck. I chill it to 40 degrees and my wife adds citris fruits and berries which bring out the already vibrant fruit flavor. When we buy it, it usually gets consumed within a few days. One of our staple refrigerator wines. This is very easy to drink so be careful not to drink too much ;-)

This Sangria rocks. All the flavor without the work, in a screw-cap bottle for no money -- what more do you want from sangria?? Nice fruit flavors, not too sweet. Great to have on hand for summer parties or just summer lounging.
