As the individual below noted, this wine is still drinking very well and would be comfortable leaving this around for another 2 years or so. On the nose you get fallen cedar, wet stone, and honeyed notes. On the palate, you get burnt rice, some acid, and wet river rock. Overall, a great effort.

At Jordan Wine Dinner, Taj Campton Place, San Francisco. Round, mature, nice texture with golden apples, apricots, pears, and hints of honey, cinnamon, and lemon crisp. Lingering finish.

Moderate body Medium to long duration Color - slight off yellow Nose - generic white wine It was light and smooth with a lemony white wine flavor. No oaky flavors whatsoever which is surprising for a CA Chardonnay. Also has a hint of an unclear spice.

Interesting scent of paper glue with fresh fruit and sorrel. Taste mirrors the nose with fresh yellow fruits and wallpaper pastes.

Did not like this. Oak was moderate, but not well integrated and hid the fruit. Huge acidity, which again did not combine well in the mouth. Disappointing. But based on other reviews, it's likely this was just a bad bottle.

Floral with light buttery undertones. I like all of Jordan's Chardonnays and rarely do not have at least one bottle on hand. Chilled on a summer afternoon - good times with good friends.

A good chardonnay. Light, lively. Apple and lemon dominated the front out of the bottle and glass. The wine poured a lighter yellow. The minerality was apparent upon initial mouthfeel, and the wine was quite acidic. Flavors of apple pie spice and vanilla. Went very well with the black bean and chicken chalupas that were served with it. The dish was spicy in itself, and the wine was a nice complement. On a side note, this wine could stand on …

Bright Fruit, with an ample amount of apple and lemon on the front. Not overly oaked giving it a great balance and refreshing finish. Crisp and clean with hints of vanilla and butterscotch. Pairs well with grilled fish and fresh salads.

Stone Balloon Luxury Brand Tasting (Stone Balloon Winehouse, Newark DE) : True cali styled chard with a lot of butter. Round, full-bodied wine with a long clean finish. A bit of a chalky note keeps it from being a one-trick pony.

Jordan Chardonnay Russian river 2009 Served too cold. White wine should not be served fridge temperature.... Waited a bit. Apricots and that little fruit that looks like a baby orange (shaped as a watermelon - kumat maybe?). Some floral too. Good acidity , full bodied with a deep complex and log finish that brings some ginger , hey and solid butter (nice though) Solid 91

A nice, typical Russian River Valley Chardonnay. Oak isn't over the top and everything else is well balanced. For $26, this was a good deal.

Did not see this one, I think. Maybe I saw it and passed. I really don’t remember. Either it sucked, and I poured it out, or I did not try it. Ergo, no rating. * http://www.thedrunkencyclist.com

Light gold color. Drank 1 glass over 30 minutes. Nose has nice tropical fruits, citrus, mineral, light oak. Crisp acidity, medium body, light and fresh, clean with a lingering finish.

When I had my first sip, the wine was too cold. Fruit was hidden on the nose and palate and was showing some mineral and acidity. This wine got better with every degree it warmed. The final glass was a racy, focused, mouthfull of lemon curd, apple, and mineral, with citrus oil on the balanced finish.

Uninspiring. Nice color and nose. Flat and muddled taste. Some lemon, peach, and floral notes. Lacks crispness and has an underdeveloped finish.

Terroirist Blogger Tasting #2 (David White's House) : This wine was fantastic. The nose is incredibly seductive -- lots of green apple, lemon, lime, lemon rind, white flowers, hint of oak and butter. On the palate, a bit more tart than the nose suggested. Mouth-watering acidity. Great wine.
