Drinking well, in fact better on day two. Licorice, tar, moth balls, old hay and mulberry notes. Missing something I can’t quite put my finger on, maybe needs a bit more acidic grip…?

Nose of bourbon soaked cherries, damp earth. Very dry - spice driven with hints of alcoholic cherries and plums. light acid. Light-medium tannin. Lovely balanced wine. Just a little too dry for me personally.

pretty in the glass, dark with purple rim, blackberries on the nose, the palate shows freshness, with flavors of black cherry, dark berries, soil and muscular mineral, finishes with defiant acid, opens with air, opens even more overnight (refrigerated), rustic, soulful, match with lamb
