toasty oak, spicy nose. ripe red/dark fruit, toasted oak, vanilla, creme brulee. decent length on finish.

Paired well with aged Gouda and even better with a creamy aged cheddar. Without the cheese, the wine was put through the Vinturi which was almost enough. A bit more in the glass and the wine had some oak at the beginning which smoothed out to a very nice finish. At $15, this is a great buy. I'm getting more from Costco this week.

Put through the Vinturi after a quick taste without. Good choice, the wine was very fruit forward with a smooth finish. Paired with aged smoked Gouda very very well. Did not go well with my dinner (sausage and pasta sauce) but I did not even pretend that it would. Went great by itself and the cheese. Very very tasty. Getting more while I can.

4 on the YUM This is a nice easy drinking somewhat fruity-berry tastes. Not very complex but a smooth easy drink
