Gonzalo Gonzalo Rioja Gran Cerdo

My first taste of an unoaked viura. Certainly not bland. Viognier-like notes of peach kernels, something solvent-like; oily texture. On the back of the palate it turns all wet-slate minerally and finishes slightly bitter. My husband said it tasted like vermouth.
