OK, so let's get this straight. I don't like Rose. The only Rose I really drink (given I don't like it) is a Pinot Nior based Rose. So this cheeky little number has captured me.......one of Michael Campbell's must try 100 NZ wines. A clear pale ruby, that's clean, light intensity, aromas of rasberrys and blackcurrant. A dry wine, with high acid. light body, and similar tastes. Maybe some cherry as well. Medium finish, a very good wine.

deep, bright raspberry-pink colour. rose petal, candy, raspberry and cream. dry, soft acidity, long finish.

WSET Foundation - Evening 1 (WSET School London) : Clean, dark rose colour, much more so than I'm used to. Very slightly off dry, with a light / medium body. Aromas very strongly of strawberry & other red fruit, which came through on the palate as well, with red cherry, redcurrant. Slight bitter notes on the finish, with quite a strong alcohol burn - at 14%, I think this wine was actually quite unbalanced, and a little OTT. The only …
