Berry bomb upon opening, quite ripe and a bit of fun actually. 2 hour decant prior to tasting, sweet Barossa fruits evident, with blackberry and blueberries predominate. Medium + bodied with interesting tannins, initially a little green and bitter, counter intuitive for a hottish year. Sydney good food and wine show (Olympic Park, Homebush, Sydney) : Green notes, black over red berry and perfumed green peppercorn elements. In the mouth the wine is dominated by flavours of green and black peppercorn and is very spicy all of which dominates the black fruit. Having said that rather like it.
