Taste of clean lime and citrus fruits, a touch of acid and mineral. Otherwise not so much more. An excellent champagne to aperitif and snacks. A nice easy to drink and zip champagne but it has to less complexity and not so many flavours to elevate it to a higher score.

After the last bottle was horrifically light struck, it was a great relief to find this bottle was pristine. Indeed, it was absolutely fantastic. Still quite young but very approacable and kept on improving throughout the evening.

Explosive mousse but massively light struck with a very off putting sulphurous/eggy nose. Palate unaffected and quite rich, nicely developed. Very hard to get past the nose though.

Creamy, rich, buttery, Chardonnay speaks loudly here; veyr much a feminin Champagne, but the vintage speaks as well, and this is further developed than the 1999 for example. Drinking well, but probably not improving from here. #Jordnær#Ib&Pia

From 3 Methuselahs bought directly from Deutz for an epic private Xmas party. Pale gold colour. A very fresh nose of apple, nashi pear, white peach, nougat and honey. The palate was fresh with lovely fruit, touches of brioche, nougat, nuts and honey leading into a fine grip at the finish. Not unexpectedly this wine was very fresh with touches of honey balancing a lovely finish. The 3 bottles were consistent.

Paler yellow colour than the 08 BdB. Much more typical of a BdB on the nose and palate too. Notes of white bread and sweet honey developing. Very similar showing to my experiences with the 02 Taittinger cdc.

Har tidigare inte varit speciellt imponerad av denna Champagne men denna var riktigt bra och över förväntningarna. I doften citrus, päron, vita blommor och viss mineralitet. Väldigt lätt och elegant.

Amour de Deutz är ett av de viner som jag alltid undrar varför det görs. Har aldrig varit imponerat av vinet och det här är kanske det sämsta av de årgångar jag druckit. Hade varit öppet ett tag och som många 2003or, det klarar inte luft utan det blir riktigt dåligt. Unken, soptunnedoft med ett vin som känns avslaget. Lite samma tendenser som med DP 2003. Väldigt tveksam till den här årgången
