Cebene, Felgaria, Faugeres

This is very nice and has great varietal character. With salmon and roasted potatoes this was on fire. Cool mourvedre fruit, black pepper, saddle leather. Drinking like a well-aged Bandol. I dig this--like all Cebene wines-and would definitely seek out again in a more up to date vintage.

This was very nice - easy to drink, slightly floral. Complemented food very well.

Dusky ruby. Coffee, chocolate, black cherry, violets. Full bodied sweet dark berry core with a nice acid tail, smooth tannins at the back, lingering acid finish. Good with barbecued ribs. 50 + 16 + 16 + 8.

Dunkles Lila-Rot Um einiges dichter als bei der letzten Begegnung. Schwarzkirschig,Brombeeren,würzig,Hauch Lakritze. Dicht,voller Körper,satt,fleischig,viel Grip,samtig,gute Tiefe,zwischendurch leicht alkoholisch. Mittellanger leicht prägend-dunkelfruchtiger Abgang Immer noch sehr jung,warscheinlich noch mehr Potential.

Nice dusty red berry and floral nose. Many in my family did not enjoy it as they thought it was too acidic and floral. I on the other hand enjoy this will be and like the lively palate and mix of fruit, earth, and bright floral accents.

Crimson color. This is the 2nd bottle I ever tasted. All things are closed compared with the 1st bottle. I agree with the wine is in shut down phase but the great wine doesn't sleep like this. Blackberry, cranberry, violet, rosemary and clove aromas. Silky tannin but too much astringent, bitter taste here too. Unfiltered, unfined wine are not always superior to which did it. A bit unbalanced structure and rough alcohol raised. It could develop for a few years …

I bit less expressive this time around. Profile is similar to my last note. However, it may be in a shut down phase right now. Still good but lacking a little pizzazz.

Lovely. Inky purple. Blackberries, violets on the nose. Velvety in the mouth. Medium integrated tanins. Long finish.

I am a big fan of this producer. Always elegant, this wine is deep, rich and complex. You get this great rare meat component, mixed with violets, and blackberries. Nice long finish. This will will continue to evolve and impress over the next 5+ years.

90-92 Lila Rot. Sauerkirschig,Himbeeren,deutlich Blutorange,pfefferig,Menthol,leichte Vanille-Eiche,im Hintergrund floral,mineralisch. Glatt,seidig,voller Körper,gute Säure,eher elegant,glatte integrierte Tannine,einnehmend,wirklich in Bewegung,wechselhaft. Mittlerer rotfruchtiger Abgang. 2.Tag Kirsche,aber Orangenaroma dann schon eher Richtung Grapefruit ,leichte Bitterness, Lakritze,Teer.Wechselt wirklich stark. Gefällt mir anfangs sehr gut,später zieht er sich merklich zurück. Braucht sicher ein paar Jahre Entwicklungszeit.
