Wow, what a difference from vintage 2019. In 2022 they clearly had troubles to contain hot weather. Bright color, jammy, cherry fruit. Drinks like a barbera. It is very young, so some of its lack of precision is due to that, but I do not think that this one is going anywhere. Lacks freshness, acidity. This is the first 2022 vintage I try and it is not promising well.

Clear ruby, bricking. Brick, wet stone and hints of cherry and orange peel on the nose, like you'd expect from Sangiovese, but also a slight dark note and cedar. Red to black cherry on the palate, just a whisper of strawberries and cream and the wet stone again. Very citrus. Brisk and light, but balanced. Finishes with the citrusy strawberry-orange. Very, very nice for $13.

A very nice Chianti. Juicy and appealing nose. Bold and bracing. Excellent acid makes this a food-loving wine. Worth a look. 88-89.

10% French oak, rest stainless fermented. 90% Sangiovese. Nice cherry with underlying light funk. Definitely a drink now with up front fruit. Light tannins, very light spice in there. Very classic style overall and nice QPR.

Nose: Nice and balanced nose with tones of roasted herbs, red fruits, plums, cherries, and some spice tones. Taste: Medium bodied with medium+ acidity and silky tannins. There are nice and balanced tones of roasted herbs, red fruits, cherries, and spice tones. Overall: This is a nice and balanced Chianti. There is good fruit to it with very good aromatics.
