Nose: Dried fruits buttery. Taste: Light bodied, dried figs, rose petal like after taste with a pleasant acidic finish. A more than pleasant drink. Would buy again if I could get my hands on more bottles.

Lemon and grassy aromas. Lemon and green apple flavors to start, then slightly richer in the middle, showing lemon curd. Slightly bitter finish came through after open an hour, so best before then. Enjoy now.

More herbs and grass than the last bottle with a waxy, mouth coating finish. I liked the first bottle better.

Screaming Sauv Blanc to start, but a more tropical note coming through from middle forward. Combines Grass, lemon and melon in an enticing way that is very easy to enjoy right now.

Consumed 2010 and 2011 side by side for comparison. 2011: weird volatile notes and some aldehyde suggested that this was either stored poorly or was just plain over the hill. Sort of that oxidized, weird flavor that everyone says is a "winemaker's wine", but that I just don't get. Some interesting richness, but overwhelmed by the off notes. 2010: rich, creamy, buttery - but not in a rombauer kind of way. more like a good white rhone, but with just …
