Had my second of two bottles tonight. Surprisingly good flavor. I never had it in its prime drinking window, so I am judging on its own merits. From local store that held onto it too long and blew out the last bottles to me. We opened on in the store and it was good, took it and two more home. Deep purple color, no bricking, sediment is the micro-granule variety that sticks to the bottle like a film. As expected, …

Blaick color. Spicy black fruit aroma with a funky undercurrent of tomato sauce. Tart black plum & berry flavors with fully integrated tannins & some nice citrus acidity. Not bad.

Great dark fruit nose ... a little harsh on the palate at first, but as it opens (and I decanted it and waited an hour) after another hour, it mellows out. It's a pretty big wine, so you need some pretty big red meat.

89% syrah, 9% grenache, 2% mourvedre. Decanted about 30 minutes before tasting in Riedel rhone glass. Big nose of ripe dark fruits, brambles, earth and pencil. Very dark garnet and opaque in color. Zingy flavors of black cherry, blackberry, and green bell pepper with black pepper and metallic finish. Very interesting to say the least, not sure if at peak or if any time would benefit this wine.
