Courvoisier Cognac C by Courvoisier

A fairly standard coñac/ Not expensive. Fine for blending with Sprite, which is usually how I drink cognac. An every-day cognac.

Now this is a pretty old spirit but this was also a pretty old bottle, so I don't have much of an idea what the practical age of the stuff in the bottle is (i.e., the amount of time it actually spent developing in barrels). This was just ridiculously elegant, with a light-bodied, almost sprightly palate presence that drank more like a wine than like a brandy, nothing stiff about it at all, and so perfumed and floral. Unforgettable.
