Painfully youthful, even for Beaujolais. Violets, sour cherry nose and a hint of something meaty. To taste, slightly bitter, youthful fruit, though the potential is there for it to age. Purple at the moment but there should be some raspberry toned fruit in a few years. Good balance, Morgon structure and if one looks beyond the youthful austerity, there is clear quality here. Not a pleasure to drink right now but I'd really like to try it in 3-5 years. …
