A different and impressive white wine from Douro in Portugal. Very perfumed, with aromas of flowers and fruits. Enters the mouth creamy textured, partially from sur lie and oak aging. Finishes beautifully, with richness and complexity in the swallow, including both lemon juice and rind. The main grape is 90% Rubigato, a native to Portugal which well merits tracking down.
