Ruby colored with strong methol notes on the nose. No hint of green pepper. Lots of caramel and vanilla on the taste that finishes with a creamy buttery sweet combination of raspberries and blueberries. What a neat wine.

Aromas of wet rocks, roasted bell peppers and cocoa powder. Flavors of cherry candy (without the sugar) and chili pepper. This is definitely a Washington expression of Cab Franc— higher alcohol (15.2% ABV) and richer, but there’s nice acidity and it pairs well with a heavier iteration of chicken piccata.
