Interesting to see this again so early. Intesem, smokey, very concentrated with a sound core of citrus and well integrated sweetness. Will live a long time, but can be approached. #DasWeinhaus

- Yellow color - Very impressive. Pineapple in syrup, some muted Granny Smith apple, some effervescence. Smooth, sweet, just so very good. One of my highest scores. Lots of life left thats for sure. Wish I had several of these laid down.

This was very nice. How can you go wrong with Prum? Such a large producer consistently making excellent wine. So much lemon and honey it would clear an opera singer’s throat!

Still young but super lovely already. A powerful aromatic collection of citrus, honey, white peaches, ripe apples, flowers. Electrifying and racy sharp acidity with a strong mineral backbone and profile of salinity that cleanses the fruit and sweetness at the start. An absolute delight with a range of food from vegetables, salads, pickles, risotto, grilled black cod, to citrus based desserts.

still young as expected. golden yellow in the glass. just a bit of effervescence on the initial pour. petrol on the nose and then honey and overripe red apple. beautiful texture and mouthfeel with apple, honey and citrus on the palate. beautifully balanced with a solid backbone of acidity.. needless to say this has many years to go but it drinks beautifully today as well.

Showing nicely today, good balance, sweetness offset by acidity, intense notes of yellow peaches, stone fruit, with some slight tertiary notes of honey and hay. Hard to ask for more when this wine is this good already. Could definitely age further as well.

Very fragrant. Lighter weight, leaner, and more mineral than the 2018. Beautiful orange peel and apple, classic slate finish. Harmonious feel already. The best of the 5 wines tasted.

TWS Group German Tasting (Must & Lees) : This was really good - the botrytis kicking it up a notch. Caramelised pineapple, marmalade, lovely depth and breadth with notes of spice and white pepper. Rich but clean on the palate, precise despite the sugar.

Germany (Must and Lees, N1) : Medium yellow, darker than the rest of the flight. This was richer on the nose, for me more like a Sauternes. Huge amount going on, intense citrus fruit, rich and ripe, but lifted somehow, a lightness of touch that is very engaging. The Night of Three (Random) Verticals (My House) : Drank this next to the 2005. Pale straw. Nose is more citrus, some candlewax. On the palate is is much more fruity than the 2005, with a blend of light orange citrus and lemon notes, along with stone fruit like a just getting ripe peach. 90 points with upside. Certainly preferred the 2005 tonight.

Buttercups, mandarin skins and touch of ginger on the nose. Palate is mandarin and apricot marmalade finishing with tickles of lime flesh acidity. Drinking lovely now but not a show stopper.
