Wow! My last bottle of this wine, and it's singing. Served cool from cellar (~50 F), and it really improved over ~2 hours as it warmed up and got some air. Nice acidity, but more rounded than I remember from prior bottles. Bright yellow color. No obvious oak, but rich on the palate with honey, and that wooly chenin thing I love. Bone dry with good minerality. Great stuff, and a fantastic argument for cellaring even modest Chenin.

The acids were a little too prominent for my tastes (and I like acid but the yin yang sweet thing going on with Loire Chenins just isn't cutting it right now). I wish it were a little more multi dimensional and rounder (but then that may just be me). Rest of the group liked it fine (although the bottle wasn't finished that evening.......).

Perfect time to open a bottle. Still a little juicy (in a good way) with rounded stone fruit, a hint of lemon/lime with acids still playing nicely but not shrill. A few years have definitely benefited this wine. Very clean finish. Great food wine. Drinking very well at present. This is the first of many bottles I have of this and will continue to update in the years ahead.

13.5% alcohol. Cork of reasonable length and density. Bright but not light colour. The nose is captivating with yellow fruit aromas. The mouth is just as good, with no weakness at any stage and perfectly judged acidity. This is a superb food wine; I remember the owner Mr Daviau telling me with obvious pride a few years ago that it was on the list of all the Robuchon restaurants. I am not sure if this is still the case, but …

2014. Fruktdrevet chenin med eple, pære, vegetaltoner på duft. Pen syre og konsentrasjon på smak. Litt trekk for relativt diskret druekarakter
