A solid Bourdeaux. Much more earthy than I was expecting, with forest floor, dry leaves, and a bit of tobacco wrapper. Some of the typical dark fruit flavors of plum and blackcurrant that one would expect from Bourdeaux, but they are slightly muted and may have started to fade. Tannins are still present but have mellowed out. A solid wine on the whole.

Enjoyed much more than I expected. Nicely aged with a medium body and beautiful color A nice finess of nose and flavors.

Very good! Intense nose of red fruit, cassis and tobacco, good acidity and body, very appetising. All that Bordeaux should be

Encore très tendu malgré l'âge, j'aurais dû le laisser dormir encore quelques années

Somewhat developed Bordeaux nose with barnyard aromas and other animal notes, blackcurrants and dark plums, some spice and a hint of herbal notes. Medium bodied or slightly less, dark fruit, some spice, noticeable acidity, rather noticeable medium tannins. Has come together somewhat since the previous encounter. 86 p.

Medium red. Classical Bordeaux nose of barnyard aromas, blackcurrants, dark plum, and some herbal, spice and oak notes. Slightly less than medium bodied, dark fruit but not too concentrated, some spice, noticeable acidity, medium but slightly angular tannins. Slightly austere on the palate; the nose is better. Drinks reasonably well now, but could improve by additional cellaring, to polish off the tannins somewhat.

Medium ruby with some purple on the rim. Medium intensity on the nose, very ripe cherries, smokey aromas and some volatile acidity. Medium body. Tannins are not very ripe and somewhat astringent, greenish without weight. Some buttery and caramel notes in the mouth presumably from oak.

Light ruby. Shy nose with some fruit and vanilla. Light-bodied, somewhat watery, with soft tanins, hidden fruit and o.k. acidity. Medium finish. One of the weakest wines tasted.
